Hi, I’m Meg! 👋🏻
I’m a recent graduate from the Master of Science in Health Promotion program at Queen’s University, and I’m currently working as the Communications & Knowledge Translation Officer at the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health (CanPath) at the University of Toronto.
I have held digital space in many different disciplines.
From using Tumblr, Twitter, and Wattpad as spaces for fangirling and writing stories about cute boy bands, to writing a study blog throughout my Bachelor’s degree, to my most recent endeavour – an Instagram account for sharing about fitness and self-care – I know firsthand about the importance of holding space and community online, no matter the context.
With this blog, I’m excited to jump back in … as me – Megan Liz Fleming!
To this blog, I bring my experience as a health promoter, digital communicator, and social issues advocate. More on this is to come in my CV (in development).
But enough about me, what about YOU?
Are you a recent health graduate or early-career professional?
Are you looking to …
Share empowering content across your social media channels?
Start up a website for your personal portfolio or a health-related project?
Hold a participatory community, like a club, hub, or collaborative?
Then you’re in the right place!
If you don’t tick one or more of those boxes – that’s OK too! This website is in its foundational stage, but more blog posts and resources will shortly be added to learn and engage with content about health promotion, health communication, misinformation, advocacy, and more. Everyone is welcome here!
